Security Projects Update

Introduction

The Port of Halifax has implemented major upgrades to its marine security arrangements. The centerpiece of this upgrade programme is the Halifax Port Authority Command and Control System (HPACCS), this system will assist the Port to deter and respond to both criminal and terrorist activity should either materialize, and to achieve proficiency in response to threat events through scenario based training.
