Port Practices and Procedures Manual
These practices and procedures are made pursuant to the Canada Marine Act section 56 subsection (1) (b), having been developed through participatory means with public agencies, stakeholders and users of the Port of Halifax.
The Halifax Port Authority’s Practices and Procedures Manual is designed to provide port users with a single point of reference for port operational procedures and practices. These practices and procedures are applicable to all vessels operating in the waters of the Port.
These Practices and Procedures have been developed for the purpose of promoting safe and effective use, navigation and environmental stewardship within the Port of Halifax.
